Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and reporting including GAAP-compliant statements and budget forecasting
• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, tuition receivables, and payroll journal entries
• Support annual audit prep, tax compliance (1099s, 1095s), and financial modeling for tuition and compensation
• Partner with HR for payroll, benefits, onboarding, PTO tracking, and 403(b) retirement administration
• Collaborate on risk management, insurance renewals, and third-party financial reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master’s preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (nonprofit or independent school ideal)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office; Veracross experience a plus
