Insight Global is looking for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager plays a vital role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and supporting the implementation of accounting policies. This position also contributes to the annual audit process and offers technical accounting guidance to staff. Additionally, the Accounting Manager leads the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This position is 100% onsite 5-days a week with a working schedule of Monday-Friday 8-5 pm. No relocation candidates, must be local. Must be willing to work overtime including nights and weekends upon request.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and coordinate with departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee financial operations and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.
• Support the annual audit process and provide technical accounting guidance to staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accounting policies.
• Manage onsite requirements and overtime expectations as needed.

Qualifications

• Required Skills & Experience: Candidates should be coming from a Top 10 accounting firm.
• Must have CPA, CMA, or CGMA certification.
• Open to private or public sector backgrounds; if from public, must have audit or advisory experience (no tax experience) and 3-5 years in public accounting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with ERP system conversion is a plus.
