The Placer County Counsel’s Office is seeking an entry-level Civil Legal Secretary I. The role involves drafting, proofreading, and e-filing documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and contracts. You will support trial preparation, manage paper and electronic files, track Public Records Act requests, schedule hearings, and serve as the friendly face at our front desk.
To qualify, candidates need a high school diploma and the equivalent of 2 years of experience performing secretarial and technical legal support duties in a legal office, including support for civil litigation.
