Responsibilities

• Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, building strong relationships with media across various sectors
• Own the tactical execution of cybersecurity-focused public relations program elements, including media relations and thought leadership
• Write and edit high-impact cybersecurity-focused content, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance
• Measure and communicate the ROI of public relations programs, using analytics to optimize initiatives
• Mentor junior staff to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and media skills

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public relations/communications experience in an agency setting
• Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry
• Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades
• Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills
• Experience managing client communications and deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Confidence using analytics tools and reporting on performance metrics
• A collaborative, curious, and client-first mindset
• Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives
• Experience in developing budgets and allocating team resources based on client needs
