Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, floors (vacuuming or washing), removing trash, and dusting/polishing furnishings.
2. Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas.
3. Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned.
4. Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality.
5. Immediately notify supervisor of safety/security violations or guest concerns.
6. Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on the housekeeping cart.
7. Report room readiness to the head housekeeper or supervisor.
8. Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests.

Skills/Experience

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience, including knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience providing required skills.

Mental and Physical Demands

• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Indoor work on hard and carpeted surfaces.
• Standing for 8-hour shifts.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
