The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The Night Auditor will also attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, reservations, and answering inquiries.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  2. Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
  3. Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
  4. Processing guest registrations and payments.
  5. Preparing express checkout folios.
  6. Maintaining room status inventory.
  7. Communicating shift information to relevant staff.
  8. Maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
  9. Ensuring smooth shift transitions by passing on pertinent information.
  10. Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
  11. Handling guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  12. Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
  13. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
