Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Powell, Tennessee. As a member of our team, you'll provide direct patient care and support to patients alongside nurses and healthcare teams.

Base pay range

This range is provided by Fusion Medical Staffing. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide mobility assistance (repositioning, transfers, ambulation)
• Assist with feeding and meal support as needed
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and observations
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent CNA experience
• Valid CNA registration per state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills
• Physical abilities to remain stationary and move/assist with equipment (50-100 lbs)
• Ability to work with diverse teams and maintain professionalism
• Technical/motor skills for assisting with procedures and using equipment
• Mental ability to manage deadlines, adapt to schedules, and maintain attention to detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
