• Location: Gillette, WY 82716 – Northeastern Wyoming, Campbell County
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel CNA)
• Healthcare Setting: Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts; flexibility for all shifts and weekends as needed
• Patient Ratio: 10-12 residents per CNA
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $970–$1050

CNA Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification – Wyoming or compact state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience (2+ years preferred, especially in Med/Surg or Geriatric care)
• Ability to work in all neighborhoods within the skilled nursing facility and adhere to all policies, including dress code
• Ceil blue scrubs required; facial piercings and visible objectionable tattoos must be covered
• Completion of 2-day orientation required

CNA Responsibilities in Long Term Care

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), serving adults from mid-30s to mid-90s with diverse diagnoses (dementia, diabetes, stroke, neuromuscular diseases, and more)
• Operate healthcare equipment: vital sign towers, glucometers, lifts, bladder scanner, IV pumps, wound vacs, and assistive devices
• Accurately document resident care using Meditech electronic medical records
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Transport residents for lab and radiology services as needed
• Work weekends and variable shifts to meet facility and resident needs
