Travel CNA Job Details – Geneva, NY

• Location: Geneva, NY 14456
• Employment Type: Travel CNA position
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Acute Care Unit
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: February 14, 2026
• Contract Duration: 17 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, 3x12 hour rotating day/night shifts per week (36 hours/week), including every other weekend and holidays
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $790–$850 per week

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (New York state requirements apply)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in health or human services preferred
• 1-2 years of healthcare or customer service experience (Med/Surg, Emergency Department, or ICU experience preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work through the holiday season

CNA Responsibilities in Hospital Setting

• Deliver direct patient care and non-professional services to support patient comfort and healing
• Monitor and record vital signs, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and document care per hospital guidelines
• Support patient nutrition: meal delivery, tray setup, feeding assistance, and nourishment distribution
• Maintain patient safety and comfort by turning, positioning, providing skin care, and responding to call lights and alarms
• Assist with rehabilitation: range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Identify and report changes in patient physical and emotional status to nursing staff
• Participate in effective shift change communication and maintain accurate documentation
• Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and uphold a respectful, healing environment for patients of all ages
