Security Installer Job at Anistar Technologies in Carrollton

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Security Installer to install and service access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

The role involves leading teams or crews in installation, and performing services for new equipment installation, system repairs, and troubleshooting. The position supports the security solutions business by installing and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and service of security management solutions such as access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV systems, and related security systems. Must be able to install, configure, and test equipment to ensure final product quality.
• Upgrade and expand systems to enhance functionality and usability.
• Input and program CCTV cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
• Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
• Read and interpret drawings and prints to correctly install equipment.
• Terminate equipment and field devices, verifying operation from the field to reporting systems.
• Perform any tasks required to complete daily responsibilities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the low voltage/security industry.
• Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
• Good communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Experience with IP-based systems.
• Comfortable working off a lift.
• Experience bending and running conduit.
• Knowledge of Software House, Open Options, and Lenel is a plus.
• Experience with nurse call, intercom, and commercial sound systems is a plus.
