Implement physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality. Engage in collaborative efforts with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes. Provide education to patients and their families concerning therapeutic goals, strategies for discharge, and home exercise regimens. Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to established facility and regulatory guidelines. Participate actively in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care. Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program. Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist Preferred CPR certification. Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not mandatory. Skills
Prior experience in the field is strongly preferred. Capable of treating patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Adept in utilizing digital charting and clinical documentation systems. Benefits
