Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Orthodontic Assistant
to join our clinical team. This role involves providing chairside support to the orthodontist during patient procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality orthodontic care in a collaborative, patient-centered practice. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist Assist in the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances and wires Take and process digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions or digital scans Maintain and sterilize instruments and treatment areas in compliance with infection control protocols Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions Accurately document patient information and clinical notes in the dental software Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Support a positive team environment and uphold the practice's commitment to excellence Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent communication and organizational skills A love for learning Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Pet Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan
