Save Job

Imagine a day where each moment you spend at work is not just a job, but an opportunity to help someone reclaim their life after surgery, regain their mobility after a stroke, or even recover their speech following an illness. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you're not merely facilitating recovery - you're restoring dignity and purpose during some of life's most challenging times. What's more, you'll do this in an incredible city known for its cultural vibrancy and dynamic lifestyle. We're searching for a dedicated and skilled DPT to join our compassionate team in the breathtaking city of San Francisco, California. Here, where clinical excellence meets an invigorating lifestyle, you'll find fulfillment in both your professional and personal life. If you're ready to leave a lasting impact on the lives of your patients, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a part of your role, you will engage in evaluating patients, whether in an inpatient or outpatient setting, and tailor individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs. You'll execute physical therapy interventions with a focus on mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities. Collaboration will be key, as you will work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Your expertise will also extend to educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and essential home exercises. It's crucial that you document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with established guidelines, while actively participating in care team rounds to ensure everyone is aligned in providing the best possible care. To be successful, you'll need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, supported by state licensure as a Physical Therapist. While CPR certification and specialized qualifications such as those in geriatrics or neurology are welcomed, they aren't mandatory. We value experience and a proven ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges, alongside a solid foundation of communication skills and teamwork expertise. A comfort level with digital charting and clinical documentation systems is also vital in today's tech-driven healthcare environment. What's in it for you? A competitive compensation package awaits, including comprehensive benefits that cover health, dental, and vision insurance, continuing education support, and licensure reimbursement. You will enjoy generous paid time off alongside flexible scheduling options. More than anything, you'll become part of a supportive team culture that fosters clinical advancement and collaboration. Every day in this role will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference. As a trusted guide in the recovery journey, you'll be there for patients from their first wobbly steps post-surgery to their recovery milestones after extensive rehabilitation after a stroke. The hands-on nature of this work is deeply satisfying, combining skilled clinical knowledge with heartfelt compassion. You'll carefully assess each patient's condition, implement precise treatment strategies, and adapt your approach as they progress. As an essential part of the collaborative care team, you'll also take an active role in the vital discharge planning process, ensuring safe and seamless transitions back home. We're looking for someone who is more than just a skilled clinician. You need to be someone who knows that movement can heal, and that every small victory counts - from standing upright to taking that crucial first step. If you bring emotional intelligence, thrive in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment, and appreciate the significance of evidence-based care and heartfelt human connection, then we are eager to connect with you. Embark on a Journey of Healing and Growth This role transcends the idea of a mere job; it's a deep calling. As a Physical Therapist in San Francisco, you will be engaged with passionate professionals, in a vibrant work environment, all while living in a city that is sure to inspire and energize you daily. Join us in this fulfilling path where you will not only develop your career and broaden your professional skill set, but also rediscover the passion that comes from performing work that truly matters. Be a part of a team and a city that will inspire you to move forward, both individually and in your practice.
