Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred; 1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma or travel nursing experience) Active Registered Nurse license (CT RN license required; pending license accepted) Certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association) Strong independent circulating experience in cardiac surgery Proficiency in ENT and Neuro procedures (must have 4's in both specialties) Travel nursing experience required Trauma Level I or II experience preferred Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) One professional reference required Not accepting local candidates (must reside more than 75 miles from facility) Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Independently circulate cardiac, neuro, and ENT surgeries Deliver perioperative care for adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings Participate in on-call rotation for neuro and general surgical cases Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center Utilize Epic EMR for charting and documentation Maintain compliance with facility policies and required training modules Support a variety of surgical specialties including breast, plastics, surgical oncology, robotics, and GYN
