Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as the key HR contact for the US entity, providing comprehensive HR support in line with corporate policies and US federal and Texas state employment regulations. The HRBP will manage payroll, oversee compliance with labor law and taxation requirements, draft employment contracts and legal documents, implement HR policies and procedures, and manage the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to exit. $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr This range is provided by Confidential. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR contact for all US-based employees. Draft and issue employment contracts, offer letters, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other employment-related documents. Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, induction, performance management, career development, and offboarding. Conduct employee exit processes including clearance, exit interviews, and final settlements. Partner with managers to resolve employee relations issues and ensure compliance with Texas labor law. Process and manage end-to-end payroll for all US employees in compliance with federal and Texas state regulations. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits. Stay updated on taxation requirements (federal, state, local) and ensure timely filing and compliance. Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll and statutory reporting. Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with global HR standards and local US/Texas requirements. Ensure compliance with US employment law (FLSA, OSHA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc.) and Texas labor law. Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. Create and update job descriptions in line with organizational structure and market benchmarks. Support managers in workforce planning and organizational design. Participate in performance management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. Administer employee benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, allowances, etc.) in compliance with US regulations. Support compensation reviews and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Generate HR reports (headcount, turnover, payroll cost, absenteeism, etc.) for local and global HR teams. ERP management (Bamboo system) for US operations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred). Professional certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred. Minimum 58 years of progressive HR experience, including payroll administration, contracts drafting, and policy development. Strong knowledge of US federal labor laws and Texas employment law & taxation. Experience in Oil & Gas/manufacturing environment preferred. Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, with strong accountability and cultural awareness. Working Conditions
