About the role

The Facilities Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating allmaintenance, repair, and upkeep activities for site facilities and infrastructureto ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment. This role worksclosely with contractors, site departments, and vendors to ensure timely andeffective facility support while driving continuous improvement initiatives toenhance site reliability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all facilities maintenance and repair activities through internal or external service providers to ensure quality and timely completion. Develop and recommend preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for site buildings, structural elements, and non-process equipment. Manage maintenance requirements for site infrastructure such as roofing, plumbing, electrical (non-process), lighting, doors, and building security systems. Collaborate with Engineering, EHS, Operations, and other stakeholders to prioritize and schedule facilities work without disrupting operations. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards applicable to facilities and building maintenance. Manage contracts, performance, and relationships with external vendors and contractors. Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation of facilities maintenance activities within CMMS or other systems. Support facilities-related capital projects and upgrades alongside CAPEX and Engineering teams. Identify opportunities and support initiatives for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings in facilities management. Respond promptly to facilities-related emergencies, coordinating with contractors and site teams to implement corrective actions. Participate in site safety programs, audits, and inspections to promote a safe working environment. About you

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred; relevant technical experience acceptable. 5+ years of experience managing facilities maintenance or operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Proven experience coordinating and managing contractors and service providers for facility maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical (non-process), plumbing, roofing, lighting, and security systems. Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and building codes relevant to facilities maintenance (e.g., OSHA, local building regulations). Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Experience supportingsustainability and energy efficiency initiatives is a plus.
