Overview
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist located onsite in High Point, NC. The client is requesting at least a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of HR experience.
This role is onsite in High Point, NC and relocation is not available.
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to source, interview, and hire top talent; manage offer letters, background checks, and new-hire onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Employee Experience & Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees, building relationships across shifts and departments, addressing concerns, and fostering open communication and teamwork.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support payroll, benefits administration, and annual enrollment activities; assist employees with benefit questions and claims resolution.
- Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture, educate employees on safety practices, and partner with managers to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate records in HRIS, ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements, prepare HR communications and documentation, and support audits.
- Culture & Engagement: Help plan and execute employee events, appreciation initiatives, and recognition programs that strengthen engagement and culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with HR best practices, identify opportunities to improve processes, and support HR projects that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Be Present: Conduct regular floor walks to stay connected with employees, gather feedback, and strengthen HR's presence as a resource and advocate.
Basic Hiring Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience with focus areas in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations with practical application skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Paycom experience a plus).
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Adaptability, dependability, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
