COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, cellulitis, sepsis, influenza, COVID-19, diabetes-related infections Surgical:
SBO, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, exploratory laparotomy, bowel reversal Oncology:
Immunocompromised patients, dehydration, infections Orthopedic:
Joint replacements (knees, hips, shoulders) Pediatrics:
Appendicitis, abdominal pain Candidate Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical experience preferred Strong telemetry background
Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Telemetry certification
Must-Have Skills: Proficient in telemetry monitoring and general med/surg care
Preferred Skills: Strong adaptability and prior travel nurse experience
Onboarding & Education
Preboarding Modules via HealthTrust: Blood, restraints, seclusion, Code Pink, Code Silver, fall prevention
Day 1 Education Includes: EPIC training, incident reporting (RL), safe patient handling, 1:1 orientation with unit leadership
