Floater Support Coordinator
Under the direction of the Training Manager, the Floater Support Coordinator provides essential administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of client services. This role operates in alignment with all applicable agency policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and requirements set forth by funders and external auditors. The Coordinator demonstrates adaptability, responsiveness, and strong time management skills to effectively meet the evolving needs of the department. Due to the nature of the duties related to this job and the needs of the agency, the individual in this role will be required to be onsite 100%. Responsibilities
Provide coverage and support during staffing gaps by providing subsidy-related services to child care providers, assisting payment staff with monthly provider payment processing, or temporarily supporting eligible families until the position is filled. Assist with walk-in clients as requested Assist Quality Assurance Coordinator with procedures including file reviews and conducting meetings as requested Coordinate the transfer of client files among staff members, maintaining accurate file inventory during the transfer Complete ad-hoc projects for the CAPS department such as requests for data, compiling information into report form, support with local and State audits, etc. Provide basic support and coverage with other agency departments and staff as needed. Other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
BA plus two (2) years experience in a subsidized child development, child development, human services, or related field, OR AA or Certification plus three (3) years experience in a subsidized child development, child development, human services, or related field, OR five (5) or more years of experience in a subsidized child development, child development, human services, or related field. Excellent organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills. Passion for parent empowerment and early childhood development. Ability to work with diverse clientele, which may include the use of conflict management techniques. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work independently in a structured environment. Occasional flexible schedules including evenings and weekends. Bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese preferred. Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time. Must be able to move throughout the office, access files, meet with staff and external partners, climb four flights of stairs if needed. Require the mental acuity to perform the essential functions as outlined in an accurate and timely fashion.
