Voice Engineer

(Service Delivery team) to join its team in Peoria, IL.

As the

Voice Engineer , you will be responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of voice communication systems and contact center platforms. This role emphasizes reliable agent operations, system reporting, and workflow enablement, and involves troubleshooting voice networks and phone systems, user account management, performance monitoring, system audits, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

The pay range for this role shown addresses differences in candidates experience, skill set, and level of responsibility. The estimated pay range for this role is $79,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Duties: •

Voice Systems Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain voice communication systems and contact center applications (IP phones, gateways, SIP trunks, routers, Cisco Finesse, Calabrio, WebEx/Jabber). •

Troubleshooting & Support:

Provide first-line and advanced troubleshooting for voice/contact center issues, including dial plans, call routing, user provisioning, and agent readiness. Leverage Oracle SBC, Cisco Script Editor, and Unimax tools for system optimization. •

Performance Monitoring & Maintenance:

Monitor and analyze voice network/application performance, apply patches and upgrades, and follow established change management processes. •

Collaboration & Compliance:

Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to integrate systems, maintain compliance, and support cross-functional initiatives. •

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

Maintain runbooks, refine workflows, support CUIC reporting, contribute to knowledge bases, and participate in training and on-call rotations.

Requirements: • Education in a technical field with 5+ years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Hands-on experience with Cisco voice/contact center platforms (CUCM, CUBE/VG, UCCX/UCCE, CCMP, Finesse, CUIC) • Strong knowledge of PBX/VoIP administration, telephone protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323), voice hardware (IP phones, gateways, routers), network fundamentals (VLANs, QoS, DHCP, DNS, NAT), and call flow analysis • Valid driver's license
