Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a Senior Electrical Engineer, contributing to the design and development of electrical systems for a diverse range of projects including commercial, retail, multi-family, and industrial ventures.
Responsibilities
Design electrical circuits and wiring diagrams.
Develop lighting layout designs and associated control systems for commercial applications.
Perform electrical panel load calculations including voltage drops, loading, conductor sizing, and conduit sizing.
Conduct photometric design calculations.
Develop plans using AutoCAD and occasionally Revit.
Perform field verification and measurements.
Evaluate, select, and specify electrical fixtures.
Review shop drawings and coordinate with the project team to meet deliverable deadlines.
Write and review specifications.
Solve problems and coordinate with electrical contractors and municipal inspectors.
Design other electrical features related to various site planning project needs.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum of one year of experience in building/construction-based electrical engineering work.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience in power distribution and/or lighting design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EIT or PE certification is a plus.
Experience with retail or commercial projects.
Experience in controls systems design.
Work Environment
Our office is located in Farmington with over 15 employees and is continuously growing. We offer flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with the option to work hybrid on Mondays and/or Fridays. The typical workweek consists of 40-45 hours. Our workplace is supportive, offering opportunities for professional growth, including the potential to obtain your PE license and lead the Electrical Engineering department in the future.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
