Early Career Recruiter ! Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, where we empower people to buy, sell, and discover the things they love. We are transforming the online shopping experience by merging community, commerce, and entertainment. As a remote co-located team, with hubs in the US, UK, Ireland, Poland, and Germany, we're on a journey to build the future of online marketplaces. In this role, you will collaborate with different teams to create effective recruitment strategies, enhance our employer brand, and build lasting relationships with early talent globally. Work closely with hiring managers in Engineering, Sales, and Operations to design targeted hiring plans that attract the best early career talent. Manage the entire recruitment process: from drafting job descriptions and developing evaluation criteria to conducting interviews and managing internship programs. Represent Whatnot at universities, campus functions, and early career fairs, acting as our brand ambassador. Use candidate feedback to refine and improve our early talent recruitment process continuously. Build long-term connections with promising candidates by understanding their goals and showcasing the exciting career opportunities at Whatnot. Effectively handle multiple roles simultaneously, potentially managing pipelines for 5-10 open positions at any given time. Champion diversity in recruiting; actively seek out innovative methods to enhance inclusivity and bring diverse perspectives to the team. To succeed in this role, you should possess: Over 3 years of experience in full-cycle early career recruiting, especially in fast-paced environments such as startups, universities, and high-volume recruiting. Experience hiring for both technical and non-technical roles, allowing you to create effective outreach strategies and attract high-potential candidates. A global perspective on recruiting, with a keen understanding of how to attract top talent in various markets. A creative approach to problem-solving, showing a willingness to innovate and streamline recruitment processes. A proactive attitude and agility to thrive in a rapidly expanding company. A knack for curating exceptional candidate experiences that reflect Whatnot's culture, values, and mission.
