As a Patient Support Volunteer, you’ll offer companionship and comfort to individuals receiving hospice care. Whether you're sharing quiet moments, reading aloud, or simply being a calming presence, your time can make a profound difference. Volunteers may: Visit patients in homes, care facilities, or hospice centers Provide emotional support through conversation or quiet companionship Offer respite for caregivers Assist with non-medical tasks like writing letters or playing music No medical experience is required—just a compassionate heart and a willingness to listen.
