Quality Engineering Intern
to support projects that improve product quality and reliability. This internship offers hands-on experience analyzing production data, participating in root cause investigations, and assisting in the development of quality documentation in a manufacturing environment.
Accountabilities
Analyze quality data (e.g., FTT%, PPM) to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Participate in problem-solving activities to determine root causes and corrective actions. Create and update documentation such as control plans, operator instructions, and appearance standards. Assist in developing reports and dashboards to communicate quality metrics across the organization. Support continuous improvement projects and report progress to supervisors. Qualifications
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analysis tools is a plus. Ability to follow direction, adapt to different tasks, and manage deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and variable temperatures.
