Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I

is responsible for creating a

safe and supportive patient experience

by performing accurate specimen collections. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical precision, and commitment to confidentiality while ensuring all samples are prepared for testing in compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood specimens skillfully and safely, including pediatric and geriatric patients Maintain accurate records and

documentation standards Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection Promote a safe, professional, and welcoming environment Independently manage workflow in

fast-paced settings Project a positive image to patients, employees, and the public Required Experience:

Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience High school diploma or equivalent required Strong proficiency with pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy Keyboard and data entry experience Nice-to-Have Experience:

1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred Customer service background in

retail or healthcare

settings Medical assistant or paramedic training Required Skills:

Excellent phlebotomy technique Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Delivering

error-free work

consistently Preferred Skills:

Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Strong focus on patient confidentiality and customer service Additional Skills from Original Description:
