Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II
provides professional and compassionate
specimen collection services
to patients while ensuring compliance with laboratory standards. This role requires precision, independence, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver a positive patient experience across service centers, clinics, and physician offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and safe blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric patients Verify patient demographics and confirm proper specimen labeling post-collection Maintain compliance with
safety, confidentiality, and record-keeping requirements Support coverage across multiple locations as business needs dictate Adhere to company dress code, health and safety protocols, and performance standards Provide superior patient service while effectively handling multiple priorities Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Keyboard/data entry proficiency Nice-to-Have Experience:
Customer service background in
retail or healthcare settings Medical assistant or paramedic training Travel flexibility and reliable transportation Required Skills:
Strong phlebotomy technique and patient care skills Ability to work independently with
minimal on-site supervision Multi-tasking in
high-volume environments Preferred Skills:
Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additional Skills:
