Maintenance Technician
in the
manufacturing
industry in
St. Peters, MO !
Salary:
$25–$40/hour + monthly performance bonus (based on experience) Shift:
Day Shift – Full Time Location:
St. Peters, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities Install and set up a wide range of machine tools and manufacturing equipment Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine tools and systems efficiently Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance productivity Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Utilize machine tool programming languages and PLCs for troubleshooting and repairs Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment Follow all internal and external quality and safety standards, including AS-9100 Support continuous improvement efforts using 6S and lean manufacturing practices Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records
Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with machine tool programming and PLC systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and best practices Familiarity with quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Comfortable working in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment
