SUMMARY OBJECTIVE

The purpose of this position is to conduct organization-wide advanced performance and statistical analysis. Plan and implement business process tools. This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings. Examples of Duties ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Collects, analyzes and reports statistical data and service specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability. Aggregates and interprets working data. Analyzes data gathered and develops alternative methods or solutions. Designs tools, templates and data collection plans. Formulates protocols for data recording, evaluating and reporting. Performs high level root cause analysis. Develops, designs and reconfigures reports. Gathers requirements from stakeholders and responds to ad-hoc requests. Collects data to support changes to existing policies and procedures. Analyzes current business processes and SOP's and makes recommendations for improvement to maximize efficiency. Performs mathematical calculations and applies statistical methods to optimize service delivery processes, staff requirements and service standards. Communicates the development of service standards and publicizes methods and results to create organizational learning and internal public relations. Performs gap and risk analysis to identify and prioritize areas for organizational performance improvement. Performs related work as assigned. Minimum Requirements MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Information Systems, Public Policy, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline. Four (4) years statistical and performance analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must provide one's own source of transportation. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations. UNAVOIDABLE HAZARDS (WORK ENVIRONMENT)
