- The purpose of this position is to conduct organization-wide advanced performance and statistical analysis. Plan and implement business process tools. - This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - The essential functions listed below represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. - Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. - Collects, analyzes and reports statistical data and service specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability. - Aggregates and interprets working data. - Analyzes data gathered and develops alternative methods or solutions. - Designs tools, templates and data collection plans. - Formulates protocols for data recording, evaluating and reporting. - Performs high level root cause analysis. - Develops, designs and reconfigures reports. - Gathers requirements from stakeholders and responds to ad-hoc requests. - Collects data to support changes to existing policies and procedures. - Analyzes current business processes and SOPs and makes recommendations for improvement to maximize efficiency. - Performs mathematical calculations and applies statistical methods to optimize service delivery processes, staff requirements and service standards. - Communicates the development of service standards and publicizes methods and results to create organizational learning and internal public relations. - Performs gap and risk analysis to identify and prioritize areas for organizational performance improvement. - Performs related work as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Business or Public Administration, Information Systems, Public Policy, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline. - Four (4) years statistical and performance analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. - Must provide own source of transportation. - Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving history. - Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement. - Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations. - Unavoidable hazards refer to the job conditions that may lead to injury or health hazards even though precautions have been taken.
