Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks an Associate for our Healthcare department in the firms Chicago Office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of healthcare litigation and regulatory experience. Responsibilities

Candidates should have experience in healthcare-related litigation and regulatory matters, including defending clients in government investigations and enforcement actions. Prior investigator experience, as well as experience with CMS and healthcare coding issues, is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law is strongly preferred. Experience conducting or assisting with internal investigations, compliance reviews, or litigation involving healthcare providers, life sciences companies, or healthcare technology companies is a plus. Candidates must have a strong academic record, and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. Illinois bar membership or eligibility to waive into the Illinois bar is required. The right candidate will be entrepreneurial, eager to work directly with partners and clients, and excited to be part of a team handling a busy national healthcare litigation and regulatory practice. The base salary range for this position is $225,000 $250,000 (commensurate with experience).
