What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and implement solutions to defects in the core DAOS code Collaborate with customers to clarify issues and drive expedient resolutions Write and maintain code for performance and scalability, including unit tests Document code development and maintain comprehensive records Extend test coverage of core DAOS functionality and contribute to the Exascale storage stack
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer Proficiency in C programming and strong debugging skills Strong Linux development skills and experience with distributed storage systems Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Architectural knowledge of scalable distributed system architectures Familiarity with I/O and network stacks, RPCs, and file system fundamentals Understanding of consensus algorithms such as Paxos or Raft Working knowledge of FUSE
