$19 - $21 Hourly

Responsibilities Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents; generate and handle traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork. Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and orient residents to the property. Process renewal paperwork and maintain monthly documentation; maintain accurate records of traffic activity. Follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email; convert calls to scheduled tours. Inspect apartments prior to move-ins, coordinate move-in/out with the maintenance team, and ensure move-in condition. Create and maintain confidential resident files; complete weekly leasing reports and ensure daily open/close procedures. Assist with planning resident activities to increase retention; provide clerical support as needed; respond promptly to resident requests. Adhere to company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable laws.
Education And Experience
High school diploma required. Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred; one year of residential leasing experience required. Experience with new construction/lease-up multifamily assets preferred.
Skills And Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others. Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or an equivalent system preferred. Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication and confidential information handling; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, and converse in English; ability to use standard office equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage situations with calm and professionalism. Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required. Must complete and pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
