Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and retain a book of commercial business Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services Negotiate policy terms and conditions with carriers to ensure comprehensive coverage at competitive rates Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide informed advice to clients Collaborate with underwriters, claims professionals, and other team members to deliver exceptional service to clients Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred) Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Executive or similar role Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office Suite Current state-issued insurance license or willingness to obtain one Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace

Day-to-day

Meeting with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations Researching coverage options and market trends to stay informed and competitive Collaborating with underwriters to secure appropriate coverage for clients Communicating with carriers to negotiate terms and conditions for policies Proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products Analyzing market data to identify potential new business opportunities Attending industry events and networking with potential clients and partners Collaborating with team members to optimize processes and deliver exceptional service to clients
