Benefits Administrator Key Requirements 3-5 years of experience administering employee benefits Solid knowledge of group health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and leave policies 2 or 4-year degree in human resources or a related field preferred SHRM or PHR certification a plus Multi-state benefits experience a plus Benefits Administrator Main Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for employees, vendors, and third-party administrators Handle leave of absence requests, including FMLA and medical leaves Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs Maintain documentation and procedures for benefits administration Ensure compliance with regulations, reporting requirements, and deadlines Manage enrollments, COBRA, changes, and claims processing Oversee employee records and coordinate with payroll for deductions and contributions Evaluate benefit plans for cost, coverage, and competitiveness Provide clear communications and materials for open enrollment and orientations Support management with workers' compensation cases and leave tracking Benefits Administrator Perks & Benefits
