Overview A loving, respectful, and collaborative family is seeking a full-time, live-out dedicated career nanny to care primarily for their 10-month-old daughter. Both parents are currently hands-on, and mom is expecting a second child at the end of September. They will have an NCS for the first 3 months postpartum, but this role will remain focused on the toddler and will evolve once it is clear what the exact needs are. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

All aspects of full-charge care, including diapering, feeding, napping, bathing, and developmental activities

Meal plan and prep of high-quality, organic meals for the baby (formula, purées, and finger foods)

Plan and lead age-appropriate developmental activities (sensory play, outdoor time, music, and language

Maintain baby's sleep and feeding routines (no “cry-it-out” approach)

Light housekeeping related to the child (laundry, room organization, sanitizing of toys, cleaning bottles, etc.)

Maintain a fragrance-free and well-groomed personal appearance while on duty (short nails and hair pulled back when necessary)

Maintain open communication and provide feedback to parents

Always ensure the safety and well-being of the child (children)

Bring a strong knowledge of infant care and early childhood development while remaining respectful of and aligned with the parents’ values, routines, and preferences—offering professional insight when appropriate, and working collaboratively to support the evolving needs of the child

Exercise thoughtful judgment and intuition in both routine care and unexpected situations, always prioritizing the child’s well-being

Open to occasional travel in the future would be a plus

Qualifications

Full-charge capability and independent judgment about the child’s care

Works intuitively and has common sense

Open, transparent, and collaborative

Comfortable working in a home where parents will be present (dad works from home occasionally, and mom is a stay-at-home parent)

Proactive and not afraid to ask questions or clarify needs

Warm, thoughtful, and professional

Familiarity with Asian culture. The ability to speak a second language would be a plus, but not required.

Requirements

Recent infant care experience in a similar role

Strong understanding of developmental milestones

Excellent hygiene and cleanliness practices

Comfortable with structured but evolving routines

Valid driver’s license (use of family vehicle provided)

Comfortable working in a household with cultural sensitivity (e.g., removing outdoor shoes when indoors and taking indoor shoes off when entering a child’s room)

Non-smoker

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to update)

Trustline Certified

Up-to-date vaccinations

Being able to swim is a plus (Family has a pool)

Legal to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits The family is offering $40–$45/hour (based on experience) + PTO & holidays (negotiable)
