Job Description

The Plant Manager will be responsible for:

Overseeing end-to-end adhesive production-from reactor operations to chemical mixing and filling-ensuring output aligns with cost, delivery, and safety objectives Leading and developing cross-functional teams in production, equipment manufacturing, and maintenance, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards (PSM, OSHA, ISO 9001) by embedding safe practices into daily operations Driving process optimization through Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance yield Managing operational budgets and recommending capital investments to improve reliability, efficiency, and capacity Maintaining equipment performance by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizing downtime and disruptions Supporting product quality by enforcing control procedures, resolving non-conformances, and executing corrective actions Promoting site-wide alignment by standardizing KPIs, reporting formats, and communication across departments MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Manager should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred). 10+ years of leadership experience in chemical manufacturing, including 5+ years managing multi-functional teams. Strong knowledge of chemical processes, unit operations, and process control systems. Proven success applying Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM principles. Experience with ERP systems (JDE-E1 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Skilled in budget management and capital project planning. Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset. Familiarity with NEC/CEC standards and safety regulations. What's on Offer
