8-hour shifts: 8:30am to 5:30pm, 2-4 times per week Location:
N16W24131 Riverwood Dr, Waukesha, WI 53188 Your Responsibilities Will Include: Welcoming visitors and patients warmly and professionally. Maintaining confidentiality in handling patient information and records. Identifying and prioritizing any immediate emergency needs. Utilizing technical knowledge to assist with departmental procedures and maintaining current physician on-call schedules. Entering and updating patient demographic and financial information promptly. Collecting necessary signatures and preparing patient documentation, including photocopying/scanning as needed. Communicating financial responsibilities to patients and collecting patient payments accurately. Collaborating with other departments to ensure complete and efficient patient encounters. Providing wayfinding instructions and assisting with additional hospital information as required. Achieving audit accuracy standards and addressing worklists and error reports in a timely manner. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher). 1+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work 8-hour shifts 3 times per week within the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm. Availability to work Saturdays once every 8 weeks and occasional holidays. Must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a medical office or hospital setting. Familiarity with medical terminology. Experience in electronic medical records systems. Scheduling expertise. Essential Soft Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Able to thrive in fast-paced environments. Please note that the sign-on bonus is available only to external candidates.
