Overview
Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator-Bilingual (English/Spanish) — KPMG US. This is a nine-month assignment within the Digital Nexus technology organization. Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions Work with users to prioritize requests and regularly update them on progress and estimated delivery timeframes Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in creating and maintaining technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation details Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes; provide on-call production support (including off-hours and weekends) Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment with understanding of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Full fluency in both English and Spanish is required Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates, PowerShell); experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS is a plus; strong troubleshooting skills using built-in Windows tools Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and experience deploying software across the server estate Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Salary, Benefits and Compliance
