Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator-Bilingual (English/Spanish)
KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

The role involves administration and support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications on Windows and Linux, with bilingual (English/Spanish) requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users to make certain they are informed of progress and estimated delivery timeframe
Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation
Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; provide on-call support, including off hours and weekend support in a production environment
Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish is required
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS is a plus; strong troubleshooting using Windows tools
Ability to automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across server estate
Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
