Overview
Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator-Bilingual (English/Spanish) role at KPMG US. Nine-month assignment within the Digital Nexus technology organization. This position requires full bilingual capability in English and Spanish. Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases Work directly with users to prioritize requests and provide regular progress updates and estimated delivery timelines Coordinate support escalation communications; participate in the development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes; provide on-call support in a production environment including off-hours and weekend support Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems; working knowledge of SANs Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish is required Proficiency with Microsoft technologies (IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates, PowerShell); experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS is a plus; strong troubleshooting using built-in Windows OS tools Ability to automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across a server estate Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future Note:
