Overview
Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator-Bilingual (English/Spanish) at KPMG US. Nine-month assignment within the Digital Nexus technology organization. Join to apply for this role as part of a team delivering enterprise system administration and infrastructure support. Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users on progress and estimated delivery timeframe Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in the development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management; provide on-call production support, including off hours and weekend support Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience in a large enterprise environment with systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs Bachelor’s degree preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish required Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS is a plus; strong troubleshooting using Windows OS tools Ability to automate routine tasks with PowerShell or Python; experience deploying software across server estate Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Employment Type & Location
