Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)
Leading the Outpatient/Emergency Department Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP)
Managing Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT)
Reconciling outpatient/ED cultures with empiric antibiotic therapy
Beta-lactam allergy de-labeling
Starting a pharmacist-led travel e-consult clinic
Expanding Latent Tuberculosis clinic
Supporting HIV PrEP/Hepatitis clinics
Educating healthcare providers on appropriate antimicrobial use
Participating in local and VISN21 ASP activities
Conducting ID-specific performance improvement initiatives
Precepting APPE Students and PGY1 Pharmacy Residents
Facility Overview
800+ beds across three inpatient facilities and four outpatient clinics
Home to multiple regional treatment centers
