Payroll Specialist — San Bruno Park School District, San Bruno, CA
Job Summary Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer, perform a variety of specialized and complex payroll and accounting functions to assure classified and/or certificated District Office employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner; serve as a technical resource concerning assigned payroll functions and related retirement accounts and information; prepare, maintain and audit a variety of financial and statistical payroll related data, records, statements and reports.
Responsibilities
Perform payroll processing and related accounting for classified and/or certificated District Office employees.
Serve as a technical resource for payroll functions and retirement information.
Prepare, maintain, and audit financial and statistical payroll data, records, statements, and reports.
Assist with year-end processing and related statutory requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Most desirable qualifications:
At least 5 years of payroll experience, 3 years in a public school setting
Experience in ERP systems
Experience with San Mateo County of Education Financial Services
Experience in STRS and PERS retirement systems
Computer and technology savvy
Excellent customer service skills

Salary: Pay Range $31.55 - $40.28 Per Hour
Hours per day: 8
Days per week: 5
