Our North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group provides clients with “one stop” domestic and international employment law counseling and litigation representation. We assist multinational companies with international and domestic labor and employment issues, from expansion into or exit from new jurisdictions to deploying and managing a global workforce, to defending them in litigation in both state and federal court. We translate the international landscape for in-house counsel and managers with global responsibilities and lead cross-border and multidisciplinary employment projects providing commercially practical support for our clients’ global operations. Baker McKenzie seeks an associate attorney for its domestic Labor & Employment Litigation practice in California. We seek candidates for a position that will encompass a diverse range of employment matters including litigation of multijurisdictional class and collective cases and high-stakes, complex disputes. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of employment litigation experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills (e.g., Law Review). Major top-tier law firm experience in an employment litigation practice is preferred; a federal judicial clerkship is a plus. Must be admitted and in good standing with the California Bar to apply. The candidate must be able to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members.
