We are currently seeking passionate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) professionals tt. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing emergency medical care to patients in need. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being and health of individuals in critical situations. You will be involved in a variety of fast-paced and challenging medical emergency projects, making a real difference in people's lives. As an MD or DO in Emergency Medicine, your role is of utmost importance to our organization and the community we serve. You will be at the forefront of responding to medical emergencies, diagnosing conditions, and providing immediate treatment. Your ability to think quickly, make sound decisions under pressure, and deliver high-quality care will be essential. Respond to emergency medical calls promptly and efficiently. Perform initial patient assessments and examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnosis. Administer appropriate treatment and medications following established protocols. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care. Document all medical interventions and patient progress accurately. Participate in continuous training and education to stay updated on best practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams. Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Valid license to practice as an MD or DO in the state of Newport. Certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred. Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families. Schedule: 7a-7p, 10-9p, or 7p-7a No call shifts required Annual Volume: 16,000 patients Beds: 25 Support Staff: ED physicians, nurses, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeon, OB and pediatrics on-call Diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and transportation services available on-site 24/7 EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary + RVUs Sign-on and relocation package Medical malpractice coverage Full benefits
