Overview
The OEM Solution Architect will engage with OEM customers, partners, sales, and Lenovo product teams to evaluate, test, and drive technical requirements for complex OEM solution offerings. The role involves customizing offerings for unique OEM solutions, developing technical relationships with alliance partners, suppliers, and integrators, and providing requirements input to Lenovo product development teams. The Solution Architect will engage in specific testing and certifications for the OEM business and support Lenovo's OEM sales teams as a technical pre-sales/relationship advisor throughout opportunity identification, solution planning/design, and all technical elements of the sales opportunity. Primary Responsibilities
Gather and understand customer technical requirements through communications with the customer’s offering and technical teams Document customer requirements and gain concurrence to ensure accuracy and completeness Develop/architect solution by working with internal and external partners to solve customer business problems Evaluate customer solution for optimization and best alignment to Lenovo products/services Set and manage expectations around solutions, internally and externally Assist with test plans and stay engaged with customer, internal and external teams during solution development Understand emerging technologies and Lenovo's strategies to address them Collaborate with customers, sales team, and extended Lenovo teams Collaborate with Sales and the customer to drive quarterly business reviews with key accounts Gather feedback from customers on current products and relay that to Lenovo Business Units for improvement Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline 10+ years industry experience Previous experience as a pre-sales solutions architect Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Intel x86 system architecture, networking, storage and GPU solutions Experience with Windows and Linux device management Experience working with Intel ISA and ecosystem partner alliances Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to travel up to 30% The base salary budgeted range for this position is $150k - 180k plus a performance-based bonus of 12%. This is a remote position and we are looking for someone based in the
