As part of Lenovo Solutions and Services Group (SSG), the Services Solutions Architect will work as a member of the Offer Management team to guide the application, enhancement, and expansion of Lenovo Services. The role’s primary objective is to simplify service selection and application with sales and customers, while providing continual feedback to Offer Managers on enhancements to the Services Portfolio in the area of Configuration and Deployment services.
Our Configuration and Deployment services include, among other things, custom imaging, BIOS customization, asset tagging, post-manufacturing data migration, reimaging, and more.
We are looking for a dynamic, technically skilled professional who can effectively influence outcomes, ensuring customer needs are met with the right services while minimizing the need for customization. This candidate must have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels, with an effective, efficient and responsive style. They will act as a technology-oriented Services specialist and evangelist, both internally and externally, and must be able to communicate complex value propositions often associated with Services Solutions and assist in impactful promotional messaging.
Additionally, the candidate will collaborate daily with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas and business units within Lenovo. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of operational processes, and the ability to navigate business complexities to drive meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Subject matter expert on services solutions, with deep understanding of service sales offerings, delivery processes and competitive landscape.
Provide sales order support and architect services solution proposals that meet customer needs.
Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure orders are understood and ready for execution.
Provide escalation assistance related to order selection, architecture, and available offers.
Assist in order exception assessments, processes, and approval of non-standard requests.
Sales training, launch assistance, and enablement support.
Handle SOW (Statement of Work) deals with standard offers and cross-unit collaboration where possible.
Provide feedback on standardization and communicate trends to help shape the services roadmap.
Develop manufacturing and delivery fulfilment expertise and suggest workflow improvements.
Contribute to the development and presentation of materials for customers, prospects, business partners, and channel partners.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Service Delivery of Configuration and Deployment IT Services.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven success in building solutions in the IT services industry.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills; client facing.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.
