Equipment Materiel Manager I – Caltrans District 3 Department of Transportation JC-483277 | Position 932-024-1540-925 Salary: $5,850.00 - $6,616.00 per Month Working Location: San Francisco County, California (Position located at 120 Rickard St. San Francisco, CA 94134) Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Telework: In Office Job Posting: Equipment Materiel Manager I Final Filing Date: 10/9/2025 Job Description and Duties In the Division of Equipment (DOE) and under the direction of a Highway Equipment Superintendent I, II, III or Equipment Materiel Manager II or III, the Equipment Materiel Manager I supervises a staff engaged in Equipment Materiel Operations work, concerning the purchasing, inventory, disbursement, shipping and receiving of equipment parts, materiel, related equipment and services for the fabrication, maintenance, repair and disposal of mobile equipment. Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Equipment Materiel Manager I exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
