What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage assigned lines of business to optimize profitability and align with corporate strategy
Develop and implement strategic plans to grow product offerings in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams
Lead the creation of market insights, product strategies, and comprehensive proposals for senior leadership
Act as a subject matter expert on projects, ensuring successful deployment and user acceptance testing
Monitor regulatory compliance and collaborate with compliance specialists to stay updated on state regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; commensurate experience may be considered
Minimum of seven years’ experience in commercial lines product management and underwriting
Experience with state filing through S.E.R.F.F. preferred
Proven analytical skills and proficiency with data management tools (e.g., Tableau)
Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills to foster a collaborative culture
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or other professional insurance designations
Experience in reading and interpreting insurance rating manuals and policy forms
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities for effective forecasting
Ability to mentor and develop expertise in junior team members
