Overview

Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. Drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution, partnering with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute high-impact assets and enable the field to drive business growth. Responsibilities

Positioning and Messaging: Be the expert on buyers, how they buy, and buying criteria. Craft messaging aligned with market and competitive trends, emphasizing differentiators and business value. Content Creation: Create compelling messaging and content (e.g., webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations) that highlight differentiated business value for target buyers. Presentation Guru: Present content to internal and external audiences, including sales training, customer briefings, webinars, industry events, and analyst briefings. Serve as the primary thought leader for the supported solutions and services. Domain Expert: Establish thought leadership in the dynamic email security market. Research market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape; translate insights into actionable guidance for sales, customer success, corporate marketing, product management, and more. Launch Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and launching of new solution capabilities and releases; support updates and launches to generate sales and market awareness. Sales Enablement: Understand and support direct and indirect sales channels; deliver enablement knowledge, content, and tools to help sellers communicate value. Dynamic Collaboration: Build strong relationships with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales to align on release benefits and business goals. Customer Advocacy: Identify and leverage customer success stories and testimonials to strengthen positioning and messaging and demonstrate impact of updates. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product marketing; email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT experience preferred. BS/BA required; MBA a plus. Experience marketing to enterprise and technical buyers; ability to converse across technical and sales audiences with concise messaging. Proven ability to craft engaging content and to research, write, and edit high-quality materials with appropriate tone and style. Passion for understanding markets and translating that into actionable Go-to-Market plans. Analytical mindset with ability to execute tactically; ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a diverse team. Ability to articulate value propositions at both product and solution levels; strong storytelling and presentation skills; comfortable presenting remotely and in person. High energy, with ability to influence cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel 10-15% (including international locations). Role can be in an office, hybrid, or remote. Why Proofpoint
